About the MFPA

The Madibeng Fire Protection Association was established on 15 October 2007 and is registered under Registration Number 2895/01 in terms of the National Veld and Forest Fire Act (Act 101 of 1998).

Area of Jurisdiction

The MFPA covers an area of approximately 3,814 km2 within the Madibeng Local Municipality, which falls under the Bojanala Platinum District Municipality in the North West Province.

Membership

The MFPA has approximately 500 landowner members out of an estimated 9,043 property owners in the area. Current members cover approximately 65% of the FPA area.

All landowners in the Madibeng municipal area are encouraged to join the MFPA. Membership provides legal protection, access to shared firefighting resources, and compliance certification for insurance purposes.
